August 2, saw The Boxing Shop Amateur boxing team take part in the annual South East Qld Titles at Beenleigh Arena.

Fist up we had Mitchell Coomer, who was competing in the light flyweight division,against Qld champion Luke Toope from Bethania Boxing club.The Bout was a rematch and Mitch was out to turn the tables on his opponent who outpointed him earlier in the year.”Mitchell boxed very well and stuck to the game plan” said head coach Gareth Williams. The bout ended with a 2 point win going to Mitchell.
